Other Projects

As well as school mural projects and ones along a historical nature I have also had several other mural projects for corporations or private residences. Some of these I have included on this site and listed below is a brief outline of the photographs.

Port Broughton Area School

I painted with Year 10 students.

West Lakes High School
West Lakes High School. 1985. “Artists Self Portraits.” the second mural, painted with Bob Jankowski in the schools art department. Now in a private residence.

Elizabeth Grove Primary School

A school project for the Indigenous garden project.

“PAFC Wall of Fame”
Port Adelaide Football Clubrooms, 1994. with Janine Parsons; unveiled in the presence of the entire Williams family.

Woodville Primary School
Woodville Primary School,125th Anniversary”. 2003. a gift to the school.

Alberton Station Panel
1 panel 600 x 700mm   blueboard.

A community project of panels hung along the fences surrounding the Alberton Railway Station.
I did a painting of the “Alberton Ozone Cinema. Circa 1924.”

“Resthaven Mural
Gillingham Road, Elizabeth Centre, to celebrate the work of Resthaven at the new Centre.

“Williamstown 150th Mural Project”
2007. Barossa Valley.At 75 metres long it is the longest mural I have done alone.

“Indonesian Paradise”
Mile End. Commission for Susanne Donovan’s 60th; a long delay in coming.  2014.

RSL Mural Program
Veteran Affairs sponsored murals throughout the RSL.
I did three branches;
Marion RSL 2006, detail of the Vietnam and World War 2 panels. Ardrossan RSL 2002 on the Institute wall.
Salisbury RSL 2008.  35 metres long.

Drawing on Plywood
Have been drawing on raw plywood; lead and coloured pencil, incorporating the grain of the wood. It also lends itself to larger sized drawings.
