I have always sketched and recorded wherever I am, travelling both within Australia or overseas. As well as taking photographs I have drawn, with pens or pencil, the idea of recording the world around us. Originally it was just a sketchbook, one for each journey.

The last few years I have made them more a Journal; incorporating both drawings with pamphlets, tickets, articles relevant to what I am doing. I also add sketches and doodles often done on scraps of paper or serviettes, coasters to create a comprehensive record of the moment.
